What is offline conversion tracking?
Offline conversion tracking is sending an ad platform a conversion that happened off your website: a booked consult, a show, a payment at the desk. The platform matches it to the click by click ID, email or phone.

Offline conversion tracking for gyms
A gym’s most valuable conversion never happens online. The consult is booked by a person, the show happens in the lobby and the membership is paid for at the desk or through the billing system. The ad platform saw a click and, maybe, a form. Offline conversion tracking is how it finds out what happened next.
The mechanism is a join. At the click, a click ID (a gclid from Google, an fbclid from Meta) lands on your page and is captured with the enquiry. Weeks later, when the payment appears in the billing system against the same person, the click ID, or the person’s email or phone, is sent back to the platform with the conversion attached. The platform finds the original click and credits the campaign, and its bidding learns from a member instead of a form.
The stakes are the whole point of running ads. Without the offline stages going back, Google and Meta are optimizing a gym’s campaigns for form fills, and every improvement in cost per lead can come with a worse cost per member. With them, the platforms are pointed at the front desk.
Where it fails: the join needs something to join on. If the click ID was lost in a redirect, or the front desk typed the email differently from the form, that payment cannot be matched, and it stays an unattributed sale rather than being guessed at.
How Adsu uses offline conversion tracking
Adsu captures the click ID and campaign parameters on the visit with its pixel, matches the enquiry, booking, show and payment to the same person on an exact email or phone, and sends each verified stage back. Booked, showed and paid go back to Google as offline conversions and to Meta through the Conversions API. Adsu counts verified stages only: if a stage cannot be verified, it is not counted. Every report is one line per campaign per location.
Adsu credits the last eligible touch inside the 30 days before the payment. A payment recorded in Stripe, Mindbody or WellnessLiving and a booking recorded in HighLevel are treated the same way: verified first, then credited, then sent back. There is nothing to upload and no spreadsheet to keep.
Questions, answered.
Conversions you import into Google Ads that happened away from your website, matched to the original click by its gclid or by the customer’s hashed email or phone. For a gym: the booked consult, the show and the paid membership. Once imported, Google credits the click and its bidding optimizes toward those events.
Yes, if something joins the sale to the click. Adsu reads bookings from HighLevel and payments from Mindbody, Stripe and WellnessLiving, matches them to the visit that captured the gclid, and sends booked, showed and paid back to Google as offline conversions and to Meta through the Conversions API.
Yes. Google calls it an offline conversion import; Meta receives the same kind of event through the Conversions API, matched on the fbclid or the person’s details. The idea is identical: a stage that happened at the gym, sent back to the platform so it can credit the ad and learn from it.
