What is the best ad tracking software for a gym in 2026?
It depends on where your members pay. If every enquiry, booking and payment runs through HighLevel, its own workflows send form, call and order events back to Google and Meta and may be enough. If billing lives in Mindbody, WellnessLiving, Stripe or Square, you need a tool that joins the ad click to the billed member.

How we judged the options
Three tests, no scores. Attribution means crediting a new member, and the money they pay, to the ad that produced them. For a gym that comes down to three questions. Does the tool read the system your members pay through, so the credit lands on a billed member rather than a form fill? Does it keep each location on its own line? And does it send the stages that matter, appointment booked, appointment showed, membership paid, back to Google and Meta, so their targeting learns who joins? Nothing here is rated, ranked or scored; each option is described by what its own website states.
Adsu wrote this page and is one of the options in every section, so read it with that in mind. Every rival fact was read on the vendor's own site as of September 2026 and links to the page it came from, with the date we read it. If a vendor's page did not state something, we say so rather than guess. The full side-by-side table lives on the compare hub; this page is the decision, stack by stack.
If your gym runs on HighLevel only
The status quo is HighLevel's own reports and workflows. They see every form, call and order that happens inside HighLevel, which for a single gym taking payments on HighLevel order forms is most of the story. Two limits sit on its own help center: the revenue on the location dashboard is the sum of the monetary value of won opportunities, not the payments that cleared (help.gohighlevel.com · 2026-09-12), and the "Add to Google Ads" action fires only on form submission, order purchase, number-pool call, survey submission and chat widget, never on a pipeline stage such as showed or joined (help.gohighlevel.com · 2026-09-12).
- HighLevel is enough if you run one location and payments are HighLevel order formsThen a purchase is an order event HighLevel can see, and the "Add to Google Ads" action and the Meta Conversions API action (Meta's server-side channel for reporting wins, which can fire on a pipeline stage change) send it back (help.gohighlevel.com · 2026-09-12). If the ad platforms learning from form fills and order-form purchases is all you need, stop here. You will not get a showed stage, a renewal, or revenue measured as money received.
- Wire it yourself if you have a developer and one billing systemA developer can take HighLevel's webhooks, match each contact to a payment by email or phone, and upload the result to Google Ads as an offline conversion (a win reported after the click, keyed to the click ID Google attaches to the visit) and to Meta through the Conversions API. Budget for the parts nobody mentions: a showed stage that only exists at the front desk, renewals that arrive months later, and a second location that doubles the mapping. It works until the person who built it leaves.
- Buy a tool if you want booked, showed and paid sent back without owning the plumbingAnyTrack reads HighLevel's form, contact, appointment, order and invoice-paid events but carries no showed stage (anytrack.io · 2026-09-11), and prices by websites, sessions and seats from a free plan and a $100 a month Starter (anytrack.io · 2026-09-11). ConversionLoop connects through a HighLevel workflow webhook (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), sends booked and paid with no showed stage (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), does no call tracking (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), and starts at $29 a month on a pay-what-you-want plan capped at three integrations (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12). Adsu reads HighLevel as the CRM and your billing system as the truth, follows inbound calls to the paying member, and sends booked, showed and paid back to Google and Meta, every location on its own line, from $149 a month by tracked revenue (pricing). We built Adsu; read this as our view.
If members pay through Mindbody or WellnessLiving
Mindbody's reports show sales by location and nothing about the ad behind the member: no lead-source, ad-spend, ROAS or cost-per-member dimension is listed on its reporting page (mindbodyonline.com · 2026-09-12), and no offline-conversion upload or Meta Conversions API is documented, with Google Ads and Meta Ads appearing only as third-party tools you can connect (mindbodyonline.com · 2026-09-11). WellnessLiving's Marketing Suite says it tracks where each lead came from and states nothing about ad spend or sending conversions back (wellnessliving.com · 2026-09-12).
- Mindbody is enough if you want revenue by location and can live without the ad behind itIts reports answer what sold, where and when. They cannot say which campaign produced the member, and they send nothing back to Google or Meta. WellnessLiving likewise: it records a lead source, and its site states no ad spend or send-back. If your ad spend is small enough that a monthly look at new joins against the invoice is good enough, the reports you have are the reports you need.
- Wire it yourself if your developer can live inside the billing system's dataMindbody and WellnessLiving both hold the sale and the visit, so a developer can pull payments, match them to the click by email or phone, and upload the result as a Google offline conversion and a Meta Conversions API event. LeadsBridge, an integration middleware, lists a Mindbody to Google Offline Conversions bridge; the page shows "JOIN THE WAITING LIST", states no event mapping, and prices each conversion event as its own bridge from a Starter plan at $29 a month (leadsbridge.com · 2026-09-12). Either way, the showed stage and the per-location split are yours to build and yours to keep running.
- Buy a tool if the member has to be credited to the ad, per locationConversionLoop reads Mindbody and Mariana Tek but not WellnessLiving (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), sends booked and paid with no showed stage (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), does no call tracking (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), and runs one integration per location, with the pay-what-you-want plan capped at three (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12). Adsu reads Mindbody and WellnessLiving, maps each site or location to its own line, follows inbound calls to the paying member, and sends booked, showed and paid back to Google and Meta on one plan with no per-location fee (integrations). We built Adsu; read this as our view.
- Kuviro, if you want to replace your whole booking and billing stackKuviro is a Mindbody and Mariana Tek replacement (booking, billing, point of sale, member app) with attribution bundled: it lists Mindbody, Mariana Tek and Stripe because it is itself the billing system (kuviro.co · 2026-09-12). Core is $349 per location a month and attribution starts on Growth at $749 per location a month, billed annually (kuviro.co · 2026-09-12); it sends the paid-membership event only, first-touch (kuviro.co · 2026-09-12); and the multi-location rollup is on its Scale plan only (kuviro.co · 2026-09-12). No WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner or Square. If you would rather move the whole gym onto one system and buy attribution with it, that is the trade. Adsu sits on the systems you already run.
If members pay through Stripe or Square
The incumbent here is the Stripe or Square dashboard plus the Google and Meta pixels on your site. The dashboard knows every payment and nothing about ads; the pixels know the website and nothing about the counter. A member who clicked an ad, called, came in and paid at the front desk is invisible to both.
- The Stripe or Square dashboard, with the pixels, is enough if every member pays online, on the device they clicked, the day they clickedIn that narrow case the pixel's purchase event and the payment line up, and the ad platforms can learn from it. Most gyms are not that case: trials convert at the desk days later, on a phone call, or on a different device, and a renewal three months on is never seen by a pixel.
- Wire it yourself if you can key payments to clicksStripe and Square both send payment webhooks. A developer stores the click ID from the ad (Google's gclid, Meta's fbclid) against the email or phone captured on your form, matches it to the payment when it lands, then uploads a Google offline conversion and a Meta Conversions API event. The join is the hard part, not the upload, and the showed stage lives in your booking system, not the processor.
- Buy a tool if you want the join done for youHyros lists Stripe but none of the gym billing systems (hyros.com · 2026-09-11), documents no per-location construct (hyros.com · 2026-09-11), and its own llms.txt lists it at $230 a month on annual billing and says it is not ideal for businesses spending under $5,000 a month on ads (hyros.com · 2026-09-11). AnyTrack covers Stripe only as a knowledge-base guide and lists no Square (anytrack.io · 2026-09-11). ConversionLoop takes Stripe as a source, not Square (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), with no showed stage and no call tracking. Adsu reads Stripe and Square alongside the gym billing systems (integrations), follows calls, and sends booked, showed and paid back, per location. We built Adsu; read this as our view.
If your gym runs on PushPress or Zen Planner
PushPress Grow and Zen Planner Engage are the marketing add-ons, and both stop before the member. Grow's Google send-back is a workflow action that reports an "Imported Lead" conversion, only for contacts created from a URL carrying a Google click ID (help.pushpress.com · 2026-09-12); its Meta Conversions API triggers are form submitted, survey submitted, two-step order and appointment, with no paid-membership or renewal event stated (help.pushpress.com · 2026-09-12); and no per-location view is stated on the Grow or pricing page (pushpress.com · 2026-09-12). Engage states lead management from inquiry to enrollment and visibility into your marketing funnel, and states nothing about the ad source of a lead or sending conversions back (zenplanner.com · 2026-09-12).
- Grow or Engage is enough if cost per lead inside Meta is all you needGrow's Meta trigger fires on a form, survey, order or appointment, so Meta can report a cost per lead and Google can count an imported lead. That tells you which ad produced enquiries. It does not tell you which enquiries paid, what they went on to pay, or which of your locations they joined. Grow is a $329 a month add-on to PushPress Core (pushpress.com · 2026-09-12) and Engage is $249 a month (zenplanner.com · 2026-09-12); if you run one gym and judge ads by the front-desk count each month, that may be enough.
- Wire it yourself if your developer can read the membership dataBoth platforms hold the membership and payment records. A developer can pull them, match by email or phone to the click, and upload Google offline conversions and Meta events. A showed stage is a check-in record; a renewal is a recurring payment; each is a separate mapping, per location, that has to survive every export format change.
- Buy a tool if you want the paid member credited, not the leadNone of the other tools on this page lists PushPress or Zen Planner: Hyros (hyros.com · 2026-09-11), AnyTrack (anytrack.io · 2026-09-11), ConversionLoop (conversion-loop.com · 2026-09-12), WhatConverts (whatconverts.com · 2026-09-11), CallRail (callrail.com · 2026-09-11), Kuviro (kuviro.co · 2026-09-12). Adsu lists both (integrations): it connects PushPress to resolve the member behind a PushPress-driven payment, reads Zen Planner as a billing and member system, and credits the person who paid, per location, then sends booked, showed and paid back to Google and Meta. We built Adsu; read this as our view.
If you're an agency running many gyms
The incumbent is HighLevel's sub-account reporting across your clients: one login, one report per client, which is why agencies run it. Read two lines on its own help center before you send a report to a gym owner. The location dashboard's revenue is the value of won opportunities, not payments received (help.gohighlevel.com · 2026-09-12), and the Client Spend figure in ad reporting is the cost of the ads plus management fees, with the markup set by the agency (help.gohighlevel.com · 2026-09-12).
- HighLevel's sub-account reporting is enough if your clients judge you on leads and you bill by the leadEvery form, call and booking lands in the right sub-account and the dashboard rolls them up. If nobody is asking what a member costs per location, the reporting you have matches the promise you made. The day a client asks which location's ads produced which members, it stops being enough.
- Wire it yourself if you have an engineer and clients on the same billing systemOne pipeline can serve many clients when they all pay through the same system: pull payments, match them to clicks, upload offline conversions into each client's ad account. Each new billing system on your roster is a new pipeline, and every client asks the same two questions about showed and per location.
- Buy a tool if you need cost per member per location across the rosterWhatConverts tracks calls and forms, but one account tracks leads for one business and unlimited accounts start on Agency plans from $500 a month (whatconverts.com · 2026-09-11); it sends lead-stage conversions to Google Ads with a value typed in or passed by a CRM (whatconverts.com · 2026-09-11). CallRail has no HighLevel integration and treats it as a competitor (callrail.com · 2026-09-11), and its attribution stops at the enquiry: calls, texts and form fills reach Google Ads with a value set manually or through a CRM (callrail.com · 2026-09-11). Adsu is one plan by tracked revenue with no per-location fee (pricing); each client gym is its own workspace with every location on its own line, and agency access lets your team work across the client workspaces that grant it. We built Adsu; read this as our view.
Tools you will see on other lists
Generic "best ad tracking software" lists lead with tools built for a different business. Wicked Reports describes its HighLevel integration as built for ecommerce brands (wickedreports.com · 2026-09-11) and starts at $499 a month (wickedreports.com · 2026-09-11). Triple Whale's account is anchored to a Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce store, with no gym billing system, Stripe or Square in its directory (triplewhale.com · 2026-09-11). Cometly's payment integrations are Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee, ClickBank, BuyGoods and Whop (cometly.com · 2026-09-11). None of the three lists a gym billing system; they are in the full table for completeness.
What Adsu does differently
Adsu follows a click or a call through enquiry, appointment booked, appointment showed, membership paid and every renewal, credits that revenue to the ad that produced it, and sends the verified stages back to Google and Meta so their targeting learns who pays. It reads the billing system your members already pay through (Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner, Naamly, Stripe or Square) and HighLevel as the CRM (integrations), keeps every location on its own line, and is one plan priced by the member revenue it tracks, from $149 a month with no per-location fees (pricing). Results or you don't pay. If we can't verify a stage, we don't count it.
One published customer so far: Big Day Fitness, two locations in Norwell and Duxbury, MA, up 21 net members with $67,000+ in lifetime value added (proof). How AI ad tracking works walks the chain from the click or call to the paying member. If your stack is one of the five above, book a demo and we will tell you straight whether Adsu fits it.
Questions, answered.
The ones that produce a billed member, and the only way to know is to join the ad click or call to the payment. A lead count credits the ad that produced the enquiry; a member count credits the ad that produced the person who booked, showed and paid. Once that join exists, report the paid stage back to Google and Meta and their targeting shifts from people who fill in forms to people who join. Your CRM and your billing system each hold half of that join; a tool, or a developer, has to put the halves together.
It depends on where your members pay. On HighLevel alone, its own workflows may be enough if payments are HighLevel order forms; they send form, call and order events back, not showed or joined. On Mindbody or WellnessLiving you need a tool that reads the billing system: ConversionLoop reads Mindbody, not WellnessLiving, with no showed stage; Adsu reads both. On Stripe or Square, Hyros and AnyTrack cover Stripe and no gym billing system; Adsu reads both processors and the gym systems. On PushPress or Zen Planner, no rival on this page lists either; Adsu lists both. Across an agency roster, Adsu is one plan by tracked revenue with no per-location fee. Adsu wrote this page.
One that keeps each location on its own line without charging per location, reads whichever billing system each location pays through, and sends booked, showed and paid back per location, so each site's ads learn from its own members. As of September 2026: WhatConverts tracks one business per account, with unlimited accounts on Agency plans from $500 a month; Hyros documents no per-location construct; ConversionLoop runs one integration per location; Kuviro prices per location and gates its multi-location rollup to its Scale plan. Adsu is one plan for every location, priced by tracked member revenue, with every location on its own line; our one published customer, Big Day Fitness, runs two.
Not always. If you run one location and every payment is a HighLevel order form, HighLevel's own "Add to Google Ads" and Meta Conversions API actions can send form, call and order events back to the ad platforms, and that may be enough. You need more when payments happen in Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner, Stripe or Square; when you want the showed stage and the paid membership sent back, because HighLevel's Google action does not fire on pipeline stages; when you run more than one location; or when you want revenue reported as payments received rather than the value of won opportunities.
Yes, and cheaper is the wrong question, because both are built for ecommerce stores rather than gyms. As of September 2026, Wicked Reports starts at $499 a month (wickedreports.com/pricing) and Triple Whale does not publish its paid pricing (triplewhale.com/pricing); neither lists a gym billing system. ConversionLoop starts at $29 a month and reads Mindbody, with no showed stage and no call tracking. Adsu starts at $149 a month, priced by the member revenue it tracks, reads the gym billing systems, follows calls, and sends booked, showed and paid back to Google and Meta.
