Is Hyros the right ad tracker for a gym?
Hyros is a strong ad tracker for info products, high-ticket coaching and phone-close businesses spending $10,000+ a month. It is not built for gyms: it integrates none of Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner or Naamly, documents no per-location model, and its own llms.txt lists it at $230 a month on annual billing, demo-gated. Adsu was built for exactly that gap.

Adsu vs Hyros for gyms
An ad tracker's job is attribution: crediting a member, and the revenue they bring, to the ad that produced them, then telling Google and Meta so their targeting learns who pays. Both tools in this table do that. The difference is where each one reads the truth from: Hyros from the checkout, the CRM and the sales call; Adsu from the billing system at your front desk, your inbound calls and your CRM, with every location on its own line. Nine columns, two rows; every Hyros cell was read on Hyros's own site on the date under it, as of September 2026, and links there so you can check it. The full twelve-tool table is on the compare hub.

Credit where Hyros earns it: its own site documents HighLevel appointment tracking, Stripe payments, and subscription and lifetime-value attribution (hyros.com/llms.txt and hyros.com/integrations, 2026-09-11), so a business that sells through a checkout and a sales call gets a complete picture. Read the two rows column by column and the shape is clear. On calls, HighLevel and the stages sent back to the ad platforms, the rows are close. On gym billing integrations, the per-location split and gym proof, the Hyros cells are a no, a dash or none found, and those three columns decide whether a gym can use the tool at all.
Hyros alternative for gyms and local membership businesses
A gym is a local membership business. The sale is not a checkout page; it is a person who clicked or called, booked a visit, showed up and joined at the front desk through Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner or Naamly, then paid again every month. Three things follow from that, and Hyros's site states none of them: the five gym billing systems return no result on hyros.com/integrations or in the docs index at docs.hyros.com/llms.txt, as of September 2026.
- A join billed through your gym software. The member's first payment and every renewal live in the billing system, not in a Stripe checkout. Adsu connects to Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner, Naamly, Stripe and Square, matches the payment to the person who clicked or called, and counts the revenue only once it has cleared. See integrations.
- One line per campaign per location.A two-gym operator needs to watch the same ad fill one gym and flop at the other. Adsu reports cost per appointment, cost per show and cost per member for each location, on one plan with no per-location fee. Hyros's site has no per-location construct (hyros.com/llms.txt, 2026-09-11).
- Setup done for you.Your front desk keeps its software and your ads keep running. Adsu's setup is custom and done for you: no dev work, no ad changes, nothing new for your staff to learn.
To be fair to Hyros, the gap is not stages. It tracks call bookings, attended calls and closes, and sends them back to Meta and Google much as Adsu sends booked, showed and paid (hyros.com/llms.txt, 2026-09-11). The gap is the two things a gym cannot work without: the billing system the join runs through, and the location it happened at. Our rule is that if we can't see the payment, we don't count the member; a join billed through gym software is a payment Hyros has no documented way to read.
What Hyros costs
Hyros's own llms.txt lists $230 a month on annual billing and says it is not ideal under $5,000 a month in ad spend (per hyros.com/llms.txt, observed 2026-09-11). Its pricing page's call to action is "Book a demo", so the figure you pay is agreed on a call (hyros.com/pricing-ai-tracking, 2026-09-11).
Adsu is one plan, priced by the member revenue it tracks, from $149 a month: no per-location fees, no seats, no add-ons, and a slow month costs less. The bands are on pricing.
When Hyros is the better buy
Hyros is a serious product, and for the businesses it was built for it is the sensible choice. Its site names them plainly: info product creators, online course sellers, coaching businesses and high-ticket sales funnels, plus media buyers spending $10,000+ a month (hyros.com/llms.txt, 2026-09-11). Pick Hyros over Adsu when your business looks like one of these.
- You sell info products or courses. The sale is a checkout, often after a webinar or an email sequence, and the money lands in Stripe or a cart Hyros already reads. There is no front desk and no billing system to reconcile.
- You close on the phone with a sales team.Hyros tracks call bookings, call quality, attended calls and close rates down to the individual rep (hyros.com/llms.txt, 2026-09-11). If per-rep close rate is a number you manage by, Hyros was built around it.
- You spend $10,000+ a month and live in Ads Manager.Hyros surfaces its attribution data inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, its "In Ad Manager Stats" (hyros.com/pricing-ai-tracking, 2026-09-11), which suits a media buyer who works in the ad platforms all day.
If you run gyms, none of those describes you. Your member joined at a desk, through gym software, at one particular location, and that is the case Adsu was built for. Big Day Fitness runs two of them, in Norwell and Duxbury, MA; their story is on proof.
Hyros for gyms? Not HYROX
Search for "Hyros for gyms" and most of what comes back is a race. Hyros's own llms.txt opens with the line "Not to be confused with HYROX (hyrox.com), the international fitness racing competition series" (hyros.com/llms.txt, 2026-09-11). HYROX is the fitness race some of your members train for; Hyros is ad attribution software, and its site says it is unrelated to fitness or sporting events. If a member asks whether your gym does Hyros, they mean the race. If you are asking whether Hyros tracks your ads, the answer is the rest of this page.
Questions, answered.
Hyros is ad attribution software: it follows a customer from the ad they clicked to the sale, then sends that sale back to Meta and Google so their targeting learns who buys. Its own site says it is best for info product creators, course sellers, coaching businesses, high-ticket sales funnels and media buyers spending $10,000+ a month, and that it is not the HYROX fitness race (hyros.com/llms.txt, as of September 2026).
HighLevel, yes: it is listed under CRM & Sales on hyros.com/integrations, with appointment tracking documented. Mindbody, no: Mindbody, WellnessLiving, PushPress, Zen Planner and Naamly each return no result on hyros.com/integrations and in the docs index at docs.hyros.com/llms.txt, as of September 2026. Adsu reads HighLevel as the CRM and all five gym billing systems as the record of who paid.
Hyros's own llms.txt says it is not ideal for businesses spending under $5,000 a month on ads and best for those spending $10,000+ (hyros.com/llms.txt, as of September 2026). Below that line its own guidance points elsewhere. Adsu is priced by the member revenue it tracks, not by ad spend: one plan from $149 a month for every location you run, so a gym with a modest ad budget pays for the members it gets.
Hyros documents payment tracking through Stripe (hyros.com/integrations) and a Square setup guide in its docs (docs.hyros.com/llms.txt), as of September 2026; it documents none of the gym billing systems a walk-in join is rung up in. Adsu reads the billing system itself, so a membership sold at the front desk is a real payment it can match to the click or call that brought the person in. If nobody clicked or called first, no ad gets the credit: if we can't verify a stage, we don't count it.
